Description of Services: The business opened six months ago and is run by husband-and-wife team Stephen and Rebecca Copelin and their daughter and son-in-law Lana and Dale Cottrell.
The business processes beef, pork, and lamb year-round, and will add venison in the fall. All of the work - from slaughter to processing – is done at the facility, and all products are vacuum packed – at no extra charge – and clearly labeled. The facility will soon be USDA certified for pork; the family then plans to pursue similar certification for lamb.
In addition to their processing services, the facility also has a retail store that features choice cuts of USDA processed beef and pork, as well as chicken. The store also carries jams & jellies and Lipari brand cheeses, which has proven to be particularly popular with customers.
Business hours: 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday, from 8 AM to 5 PM on Friday and from 8 AM to noon on Saturday.
